Our mission is to support families in our community with children facing hardship caused by the critical illness or loss of a parent, in honor of Susanna May.
Our purpose is not just to provide financial assistance to families but to ensure that every individual and family we touch can move towards a more fulfilled and prosperous life, feeling whole and supported in their journey.
When a parent passes away, the emotional weight of loss and the weight of financial pressure often arrive at the same time. Infinity - Susanna Smiles steps in during that exact window so families don't have to face the hardest part alone.
Our support covers real, everyday costs and is organized around four pillars: Health & Wellness, Childhood Prosperity, Education, and Essential Needs, designed to address the full picture of the challenges a family may be facing.
We cover medical expenses like therapy, prosthetics, alternative medicine, palliative & hospice care, and more
Compassionate care through grief support, care packages, extra-curricular activities, diversion, and more
We provide assistance with essentials like food & nutrition, housing & utilities, transportation, and more
Our support funds tuition, day care, scholarships, technology & education supplies, tutoring, and more
Infinity - Susanna Smiles has provided over $370K in direct support to families across the Kansas City Metro and surrounding communities.
We help families who live in, or are receiving treatment in, the Greater Kansas City area. Applications can be submitted by anyone who knows a family in need: a friend, neighbor, family member, or healthcare provider.
Every application is reviewed confidentially by a dedicated selection committee, protecting each family’s dignity throughout the process.
Every dollar is paid directly to vendors and service providers, ensuring complete accountability and transparency from donation to impact.
Infinity - Susanna Smiles was founded by the siblings of Susanna May: a fierce, loving mother of four who passed away from stage IV kidney cancer at age 44. Her family knew firsthand that when a parent gets sick, the whole family needs someone in their corner.
